Four Catalan-speaking towns resume intermunicipal cooperation

Four Catalan-speaking municipalities—Vilafranca de Bonany, Vilafranca dels Ports, Vilafranca de Conflent, and Vilafranca del Penedès—have officially resumed intermunicipal collaboration. This reconnection comes twenty years after their initial meeting in 2006.

To mark this new stage, the towns have launched a shared digital space integrated into their respective tourism websites. The platform aims to jointly promote their landscapes, historical heritage, and cultural traditions, encouraging visitors to explore the connections between these territories regardless of administrative borders.

The municipalities intend to maintain stable communication to identify shared interests and explore future joint actions in areas such as tourism promotion, culture, and the exchange of municipal experiences.
