Four injured in E45 highway collision near Umbertide

Four people were injured in a two-car collision on the E45 highway near the Umbertide south junction. The accident occurred around 2:30 AM while traveling in a northward direction.

Firefighters from the Città di Castello detachment responded to the scene to extract the occupants, who were trapped inside their vehicles. Following the rescue operation, medical personnel from the 118 emergency service provided initial care.

The injured individuals were transported to hospitals in Perugia and Città di Castello. One victim is reported to have suspected internal injuries, requiring further medical investigation.
