Four Romanian men arrested for murder in Denmark

Four Romanian men have been arrested in Romania in connection with the murder of a 37-year-old Romanian national in Denmark. The victim was discovered on August 24 in the Gudenå river near Svostrup, Midtjylland, with his body weighted down by a car battery.

Police investigations suggest the killing took place at a summer house near Fårvang, from where the body was transported to the river to be hidden. The suspects, aged 22, 25, 26, and 31, were reportedly in Denmark for work at the time of the incident. Following a Danish arrest warrant, Romanian police apprehended the men in the districts of Constanța, Dâmbovița, Buzău, and Brăila.

Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi stated they believe these four individuals are responsible for the crime and do not expect any other accomplices to be at large.
