Four Seasons I superyacht showcases Italian engineering in Siracusa

The Four Seasons I, a 200‑meter ultra‑luxury cruise yacht for the Four Seasons hotel brand, was delivered by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri in February and is now docked in Siracusa as part of its Mediterranean itinerary. The vessel offers 95 panoramic suites, including a four‑level Funnel Suite with a private pool and spa, eleven restaurants, a spa with hammam and cryotherapy, a gym, an outdoor cinema and a 19‑meter pool. Weekly rates start at about $25,500 in the Mediterranean and can exceed $77,000 in the Caribbean.

Italian engineering firm PPC, part of the Capoha Group, contributed to the yacht’s design and engineering. Working alongside Fincantieri at the Ancona shipyard, PPC handled overall naval engineering, safety systems, and the complex integration of the spa area. The two‑year project involved up to 50 professionals from Siracusa. “Per noi rappresenta un motivo di grande orgoglio aver partecipato a questo progetto,” said Riccardo Rinzo, project manager of PPC, while technical lead Miriam Sinagra highlighted the challenges of fitting extensive mechanical systems into the yacht’s luxurious spaces.
