Four Seasons Mykonos opens, expanding Mykonos luxury hotel scene

The Four Seasons brand launched its new Mykonos resort, offering 94 rooms, suites and villas that blend into a traditional Mykonian village setting. Designed by Nicos Valsamakis, the property features four restaurants, a spa with seven treatment rooms, and organized excursions to nearby Delos and helicopter tours, emphasizing the island’s light and sea as central to the guest experience.

The opening adds to Mykonos’ long‑standing reputation as a high‑end tourist destination, a status first cemented in the 1980s by George Daktylides, who founded the Korali hotel. Over five decades the Daktylides family expanded into the Myconian Collection, welcoming roughly 250,000 visitors and establishing a network of luxury properties that attract an international jet‑set clientele.
