Four Seasons to Open Luxury Hotel in Seville in 2028
Four Seasons, in partnership with Spanish real‑estate investor Blasson, announced plans to open a new luxury hotel in Seville’s historic Plaza Nueva, slated for 2028. The hotel will occupy the mid‑20th‑century Generali building in the Arenal quarter and undergo a €80 million renovation led by Madrid‑based architecture firm Lamela, with interiors designed by AD100 honouree Belén Domecq.
The five‑storey property will offer about 55 guest rooms and suites, ranging from 40 m² to 117 m², including an expansive Presidential Suite. Amenities will include a street‑level restaurant with direct Plaza Nueva access, a rooftop restaurant and bar with city views, a ground‑floor lounge, a spa, a fitness centre and a rooftop swimming pool overlooking Seville’s UNESCO World Heritage landmarks. The development underscores Four Seasons’ strategy to expand in culturally rich destinations and reflects a commitment to sustainable luxury tourism in a city that welcomes nearly five million visitors each year.
