Four Seasons Yacht and Luxury Hotel Brands Launch Ultra‑High‑End Sea Cruises
Four Seasons Hotels debuted its 679‑foot, 95‑suite yacht Four Seasons I in March, offering cabins that start at US $31,000 and can exceed US $200,000. The vessel features four pools, a spa, private cabanas and a marina for direct sea access. General manager Vladimir Savic said guests receive “the comfort, personalisation and service of a Four Seasons Hotel while onboard,” adding that each morning brings “a new and unique destination.”
Following the Four Seasons, other high‑end hospitality groups are entering the market. Orient Express launched the 721‑foot sailing yacht Corinthian, limited to 110 passengers with rates from US $19,500 for three nights. Aman plans to sail its first luxury yacht, Amangati, in spring 2027, while Ritz‑Carlton also operates similar cruise concepts. The trend targets ultra‑wealthy travelers seeking a super‑yacht experience without the complexities of traditional cruising. The global cruise industry expects 37.2 million passengers in 2025, and these hotel‑run vessels aim to capture a niche of high‑spending guests.
Industry observers note the appeal of seclusion and privacy, which founder Joanna Davies highlighted as “the biggest luxury you can have in this day and age.” The new yachts combine hotel‑level service with exclusive itineraries across the Mediterranean, the French Riviera and beyond.
