Antonio Pemberton cuts list to eight schools, adds Michigan State

Four-star point guard Antonio Pemberton, a 6‑foot‑1 senior from the Boston area, announced he has narrowed his college recruiting list to eight programs: Michigan State, Ohio State, Creighton, Marquette, Kansas, Tennessee, UCLA and Boston College. Pemberton said he is looking for a “family‑like” environment where coaches treat players like brothers.

Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo confirmed the Spartans have extended an offer to Pemberton, placing the university among the final eight suitors. The school sees the point guard as a potential key piece for the 2027 recruiting class, which could help sustain the program’s national title aspirations.
