Four suspects arrested after luxury shop burglary in Crans‑Montana, Switzerland

On the early morning of 29 July 2026, a luxury boutique on Rue du Prado in the ski resort of Crans‑Montana was struck by a vehicle used as a ram. The thieves smashed the storefront, entered the shop and stole various items. A coordinated response involving the Cantonal Police of Valais, inter‑communal police, regional city police, municipal forces from Monthey, Martigny and Le Bouveret, the Vaud cantonal police and the Federal Customs and Border Security (OFDF) led to the arrest of four suspects.

The arrested individuals include two French nationals aged 16 and 17 and two adult males whose identities have not yet been disclosed. Most of the stolen merchandise was recovered. The Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Valais Juvenile Court have opened a criminal investigation.

The case underscores the collaboration among Swiss police agencies in responding to organised crime targeting high‑value retail outlets.
