Four teenagers arrested after stolen BMW pursuit in Victoria
Four teenagers have been arrested following a police pursuit of an allegedly stolen BMW in Victoria. The vehicle was reportedly stolen from Keilor East on a Saturday morning.
Officers spotted the blue BMW traveling at double the speed limit in a 50 km/h zone on Armstrong Road in Mambourin. After observing a passenger being dropped off at Wyndham Railway Station, police followed the vehicle to a KFC drive-thru near the intersection of Werribee Main Road and Princes Highway.
Police moved in on the vehicle after the driver placed an order. The driver then allegedly reversed out of the drive-thru and drove into adjacent bushland, where the car became bogged in mud.
Authorities arrested a 16-year-old driver and two 14-year-old passengers from the Wyndham area, as well as a 13-year-old boy from Greater Geelong at the railway station. All four individuals are being interviewed by investigators.
