Four teenagers escape from Bolans Police Station
Four teenage boys, aged between 15 and 17, remain at large after escaping from the Bolans Police Station in Antigua and Barbuda. The juveniles had been transferred to the station from the Denis Bowers Rehabilitation Centre in Willikies after allegedly damaging their cell and CCTV cameras at the facility.
Following the incident at the rehabilitation centre, the boys were taken into custody by the police Special Services Unit and the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force. They were moved to Bolans while repairs were conducted at the original facility.
Randy Christopher, manager of the rehabilitation centre, has urged the public to exercise caution and not attempt to apprehend the teenagers themselves. While not labeling them as uniquely dangerous, he noted that caution is warranted due to the nature of the offences for which they were originally remanded. Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda.
