Four Young Men Dead After Car Hits Lamppost in Huyton, Merseyside

A black Cupra Formentor left Liverpool Road in Huyton just before 2 a.m. on 26 July 2026, struck a lamppost and flipped, killing four occupants. The victims were identified as Jack Diggle, 23; Benjamin Dooley, 23; Andrew Roberts, 24; and Craig Shackleton‑Brady, 26. A 27‑year‑old passenger was hospitalized in a stable condition.
