Fourth Partner Energy secures $79 million for hybrid energy project

Fourth Partner Energy has secured approximately $79.3 million in financing from Tata Capital – Cleantech Finance to develop a large-scale hybrid energy project in Maharashtra, India. The project integrates 300 MW of solar capacity, 50 MW of wind capacity, and a 750 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).

The facility is expected to generate more than 630 million units of clean electricity annually. This hybrid approach aims to provide stable, round-the-clock power by using solar and wind generation alongside battery storage to manage fluctuations. The company has already secured purchase commitments for over half of the project's capacity, with significant interest from data centers near Mumbai.

As of September 2026, Fourth Partner Energy maintains an installed solar and wind portfolio of 2 GW, with an additional 3 GW in development. The company aims to expand its total portfolio to 9 GW by 2031.
