Fouzi Lekjaa criticizes livestock market speculators in Morocco

Fouzi Lekjaa, Morocco's Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget and a member of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, has criticized speculators and monopolists in the livestock market. Speaking at a party meeting in Oulad Nasser, within the Fkih Ben Salah province, Lekjaa stated that those who turned the joy of Eid al-Adha into anxiety for Moroccan families are the “real terrorists.”

Lekjaa emphasized that protecting the purchasing power of Moroccan citizens is a top priority. He argued against high meat prices, stating that citizens should not be forced to pay 150 or 160 dirhams for meat. He called for direct solutions to address economic challenges and ensure that public policies translate into tangible improvements in the daily lives of families.

Additionally, Lekjaa urged the youth to participate in the upcoming elections on September 23, highlighting their role as essential actors in national development.
