FOVISSSTE and PROFEDET sign agreement for housing insurance access

FOVISSSTE and PROFEDET have signed a collaboration agreement to assist former public sector workers with housing credit insurance. The agreement aims to support approximately 120,000 individuals who have left public service but still hold active housing credits and face disability or permanent total incapacity.

Previously, the required medical certificate (RT-09) was only issued to active workers, preventing former employees from accessing insurance benefits. Under this new mechanism, PROFEDET’s Legal Medicine area will conduct assessments and issue medical reports equivalent to the RT-09 to facilitate these insurance claims.
