Fox ESS unveils Power Beast energy storage system

Fox ESS has unveiled Power Beast, a new commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system, during its 2026 product launch event in Wenzhou, China. The system is designed for modularity and flexible deployment, featuring the 125 kW H3 Plus hybrid inverter and high-voltage CQ series batteries.

The CQ20 component is noted as the industry’s first modular C&I energy storage system with a fully integrated hybrid inverter. According to CEO Michael Zhu, the product aims to provide higher efficiency, lighter weight, and smarter energy management for global clients. The system is scalable, allowing a single inverter to cover capacities ranging from 28 kWh to nearly 1,000 kWh.

During the event, Chief Commercial Officer Lyren Liu conducted a live demonstration where an installation team assembled battery packs totaling 316 kWh and connected them to charging piles, a diesel generator, and a motor in under 30 minutes.
