Fox News topped Nielsen Media Research ratings for the week of July 27, leading every demographic and holding every spot in the top‑10 cable news programs. The network’s show “The Five” occupied the four highest‑rated slots, with its top episode drawing 3.6 million viewers, while “Jesse Watters Primetime” averaged 3.1 million and “Gutfeld!” 2.8 million.

In the key 25‑to‑54 age group, Fox News recorded an average of 123,000 viewers, outpacing rivals such as CNN (68,000) and MS NOW (61,000). In primetime the network ranked second among all channels in the 25‑54 demo, behind Discovery Channel, but reclaimed the overall total‑day lead with an average of 2.3 million viewers. Fox News aims to sustain its ratings advantage as the November midterm elections approach.
