IndyCar Freedom 250 Grand Prix FOX Sports Washington D.C. motorsport

FOX Sports has announced its broadcast lineup for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix of Washington, D. C., a historic IndyCar event scheduled for Sunday, August 23. The race marks the first time automobile racing will take place on the National Mall and the streets of the nation’s capital, coinciding with America’s 250th birthday celebrations.

The race broadcast will feature Will Buxton on play-by-play, joined by analysts Townsend Bell and James Hinchcliffe. Pit lane reporting will be handled by Jack Harvey, Georgia Henneberry, and Kevin Lee, with special segments from Jamie Little. A 90-minute pre-race show will begin at 11:30 AM ET on FOX and FOX One, hosted by Chris Myers and featuring guests Helio Castroneves and Danica Patrick.

Additionally, FOX One will stream the IROC Presented by Chevrolet races on Saturday, August 22, at 3:00 PM ET. This event will include commentary from NASCAR analyst Clint Bowyer and Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon.
