FOX Sports México to rebrand as beIN Sports

FOX Sports México is reportedly preparing for a major rebranding following legal disputes over brand usage rights. Grupo Lauman, the company that acquired the network in 2021 as part of Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox assets, has reportedly reached an agreement to operate under the identity of beIN Sports.

The potential transition to the international brand, which is linked to the Qatari-based beIN Media Group, comes amid a period of uncertainty for the network. This period has been marked by labor conflicts, unpaid claims, and the loss of distribution spaces on platforms such as Izzi and Sky.

While Grupo Lauman maintains that its authorization to use the FOX Sports name is valid until at least November 10, 2026, the move toward beIN Sports is seen as a way to ensure the continuity of the project and avoid future legal complications with FOX Corporation. Official confirmation regarding the new name, the specific launch date, and the transition details has not yet been released.
