Foxconn expands electric‑vehicle charging station production in Vietnam

Foxconn’s Vietnamese subsidiary, Fulian Precision Technology Component, increased its registered capital by about 400 billion VND, raising total capital to 9.86 trillion VND (approximately $398 million). The company, now 100 % foreign‑owned, broadened its business scope to include manufacturing of electric‑vehicle charging stations as well as motors, generators, transformers, and other power‑distribution equipment (industry code 2710).

The plant, established in early 2023 in Lot CN1 of the Quang Châu Industrial Park in Bắc Ninh province, is a Group A project covering more than one million square metres of floor space, with factories, a research centre, and energy‑infrastructure facilities. It employs roughly 6,000 workers and currently produces telecom equipment, routers, and electronic components for global partners such as Apple. Foxconn announced in June 2024 that its total investment in Vietnam had reached about $4 billion.
