Foz do Iguaçu FC celebrates 31st anniversary with 2nd Foz Run

The 2nd Foz Run took place this Sunday, bringing together 590 athletes to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the football club Foz do Iguaçu FC. Despite heavy rain in the morning, participants competed in 4 km and 8 km categories across various age groups.

In the 4 km category, Hugo Eduardo Nunes won the men's general title with a time of 13:25, while Keidy Roze Cima Pontes took the women's title at 17:17. For the 8 km race, Luciano Gonçalves finished first in the men's division with 27:22, and Paula Fernandes Vasconcelos won the women's division in 32:45.

The event, which aims to foster community integration and health, was attended by local officials and club executives. It marks the second year of the race as part of the club's social and sporting initiatives in the municipality.
