Foz do Iguaçu school vandalized by group destroying 400 eggs
Five individuals, including four adolescents aged 14 to 17 and one 19-year-old, invaded the Escola Municipal Padre Luigi Salvucci in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, causing significant damage to school property. Security footage captured the group breaking into the pantry and engaging in a “food war,” during which they threw watermelons, potatoes, and approximately 400 eggs onto the floor.
While the kitchen was damaged and doors were broken, school officials confirmed that no items were stolen. The municipal government is currently assessing the financial losses caused by the vandalism. To prevent future incidents, the city has increased surveillance at school units and begun replacing the damaged doors. Authorities have assured that the school meal program will continue without interruption for students.
