FPT and Silicon Labs host IoT Challenge for smart healthcare

FPT and Silicon Labs organized the IoT Challenge, a competition aimed at developing young talent in fields such as IoT, AI, embedded systems, and digital transformation. This year’s theme, ‘Smart Healthcare with Edge AI,’ attracted 687 teams and 3,407 students from Vietnam, the United Kingdom, Hungary, and India.

Participants were provided with semiconductor technology and devices to design and test practical solutions. Experts from FPT and Silicon Labs provided direct training and mentorship throughout the process. The competition concluded with 10 finalist teams presenting their projects to a panel of technology and healthcare experts.

The first-place prize was awarded to team NOVATECH from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-HCM) for their ‘Smart EOG Glasses for Wheelchair Control’ solution. Second place went to team MLIoT_Edgelectronix, while third place was awarded to team AIoT_4gentX.
