FPT breaks ground on 1.3 trillion VND digital technology building in Hanoi

FPT Group has officially commenced construction on Digital Technology Building 01, the first component of the FPT Digital Technology Park project located in the Phu Dien and Tay Tuu wards of Hanoi. The project represents a total investment of over 1,311 billion VND.

Spanning a land area of 17,217 square meters, the building will feature seven floors above ground, one basement, and a rooftop, with a total floor area of approximately 69,831.5 square meters. Designed as a green and smart facility, the building will utilize solar energy and rainwater harvesting systems. Upon completion, it is expected to accommodate approximately 6,000 digital technology experts and supporting personnel.

According to Hanoi Vice Chairman Truong Viet Dung, the project is a key milestone in the city's goal to have the digital economy contribute at least 40% to its GRDP by 2030. The facility is intended to serve as a hub for research and development in strategic fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, semiconductors, and quantum technology.
