FPT University launches AIoT Master's program amid rising tech integration

FPT University's FSB Institute of Management & Technology has launched a Master of Information Technology program focused on Artificial Intelligence of Things (MIT-AIoT). The program aims to meet the rising demand for high-quality human resources as AI and IoT integrate into urban management, manufacturing, and business operations. The launch coincided with a seminar on information security in the AI era, featuring cybersecurity expert Ngô Minh Hiếu, who highlighted the increasing sophistication of AI-driven cyber threats.

In the educational sector, schools in Vietnam are integrating AI into teaching practices. Phú Thọ Primary School is training teachers to use AI as a learning assistant, emphasizing the need for educators to verify AI-generated content and teach students responsible usage. Meanwhile, Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm Primary School has invested in digital infrastructure, including a dedicated Digital Skill Classroom equipped with tablets and high-speed internet, to help students develop digital citizenship and technical skills.
