Fra Vlado Ereš launches “Radosno u novi dan” in Odžak

On Monday, 27 July, the parish of St John the Baptist in Odžak (Bosnian Posavina) hosted the promotion of Fra Vlado Ereš’s new book *Radosno u novi dan*. The event gathered dozens of clergy and friends, many of whom live in Switzerland or have recently returned from abroad. It was organized by the Glavosjeka parish and took place in its pastoral centre.

Speakers included Branimir Stanić, editor‑in‑chief of *Glas Koncila*, Prof. Dr Darko Tomašević of the Theological Faculty in Sarajevo, and parish priest Ilija Orkić, who acted as host. In his address, Fra Vlado emphasized the power of joyful storytelling, saying, “If we do not leave children stories where good wins in the end, we leave them nothing.” He also highlighted his lifelong work of publishing ten books, with *Radosno u novi dan* now in its third edition.

The gathering celebrated the author’s energy and his commitment to bringing optimism to everyday life, with attendees expressing admiration for his decades‑long service to the Bosnian Posavina community.
