Fractal Workout launches exercise programs for healthcare staff to prevent back pain

Fractal Workout Co., Ltd. has launched a specialized exercise program consultation service aimed at healthcare and nursing care facilities to combat lower back pain among staff. The program is designed to address the physical strain caused by frequent tasks such as patient transfers and working in bent positions.

To accommodate the challenging shift patterns of medical and care workers, the service offers a combination of short exercises during breaks, online sessions accessible to night-shift staff, and on-site sessions. The program also incorporates AI-driven posture analysis to help employees recognize their physical tendencies.

The initiative aligns with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s guidelines for preventing lower back pain in the workplace. While the company provides exercise opportunities, it notes that the program is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment, and facilities are encouraged to continue using assistive devices and professional medical checkups.
