Fragrance industry sees new awards and gourmand scent trends

The fragrance industry is seeing new developments in both niche trends and prestigious awards. The Fragrance Foundation has announced the winners of its annual awards, naming Miu Miu Miutine as the best women's perfume in the Prestige category. Launched in 2025, the chypre-style scent features notes of strawberry, citrus, gardenia, rose, and jasmine, grounded by a base of brown sugar, bourbon vanilla, and patchouli.

In the gourmand scent market, the brand YUMIQUE has introduced a new line of perfume mists aimed at Gen Z. The collection focuses on nostalgic, dessert-inspired scents, including Mango Sorbet, Pink Popcorn, and Salted Nuts, utilizing ingredients such as tonka bean, vanilla, and white chocolate to align with current fragrance trends.
