A Fazenda 18: Fran Almeida wins first leadership role

The 18th season of the reality show ‘A Fazenda’ on Record TV has entered its first week of competition. Fran Almeida became the season’s first ‘Fazendeira’ (leader) after winning a challenge requiring memory and agility. As leader, she holds immunity and the power to nominate a contestant for the ‘Roça’ (elimination vote).

In a separate immunity challenge, participants Rikardo, Jônatas Faro, Tina, and Eduarda were declared winners. Meanwhile, the status of the four visitors—Ana Bruna Ávila, Giovanna Gold, Igor Monteiro, and Renê Thristan—has been a central focus. Following a public vote, actress Giovanna Gold was officially selected to remain in the competition as a permanent contestant.

The season features 22 participants competing for a R$ 2 million prize, with various dynamics such as the ‘Baia’ and visitor vetoes influencing the early stages of the game.
