Franca Buscaglia exhibition scheduled at Medina Art Gallery in Rome

The Medina Art Gallery in Rome will host a solo exhibition by artist Franca Buscaglia titled ‘Tele libere’ from October 23 to October 29, 2026. The event is part of the Rome Art Week (RAW 2026) programming.

Buscaglia’s work spans various techniques, ranging from color-heavy oil paintings to the use of heterogeneous materials. Her recent style focuses on ‘scarnificazione’ (denudation), aiming for an essentialist expression of her perspective through a mastery of materials. Her process involves working directly with textures such as canvas, guinea, linen, and jute, often manipulating the warp and weft of the fabric to achieve specific visual effects.
