Franca hosts Cultura em Movimento poetry and music festival

The Cultura em Movimento – Festival de Poesias com Música took place in Franca, São Paulo, from September 24 to 27. The four-day event featured a variety of artistic expressions, including poetry, music, dance, and recitals, aimed at increasing public access to Brazilian artistic production.

The festival brought together local artists and nationally recognized figures, such as singer Renato Teixeira, to foster interaction between established performers and emerging talents. The programming explored themes of memory, identity, and daily life through the dialogue between music and poetry.

Local community leaders noted the importance of bringing large-scale cultural activities directly to the population, expressing gratitude to Funarte and the Federal Government for supporting the event.
