Francavilla al Mare: 14-year-old reported for stabbing teenager

A 14-year-old boy has been reported to authorities by the Carabinieri following a stabbing in Francavilla al Mare. The incident occurred on Viale Nettuno during an evening gathering involving young people.

The 14-year-old allegedly used a kitchen knife to attack a 16-year-old boy, striking him in the abdomen and other parts of the body. Witnesses reported that the attacker appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Friends of the victim intervened to immobilize the attacker, who also sustained a hand injury during the struggle.

The victim was treated by emergency medical services and transported to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Chieti. His condition is reported as stable and not life-threatening. The 14-year-old faces charges of aggravated personal injury and illegal possession of a weapon as investigations continue.
