Francavilla Fontana announces music teacher recruitment for 2026-2029

The Municipality of Francavilla Fontana has issued a public notice to form eleven merit rankings for teaching positions at the Scuola Musicale Comunale ‘Città di Francavilla Fontana’. These positions are intended for the 2026/2029 three-year school period.

The rankings cover ten musical and vocal disciplines: piano, accordion, guitar, violin, saxophone, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, singing, and drums, as well as musical propedeutics. Candidates for instrumental and vocal roles must hold a Conservatory diploma or an equivalent academic degree. For musical propedeutics, a Conservatory qualification plus specific training (such as Orff-Schulwerk, Willems, or Dalcroze) is required.

The selection process involves an evaluation of academic qualifications and a practical exam. Instrumental and vocal candidates must perform a 12-15 minute free program, while propedeutics candidates must simulate a lesson for children aged 3 to 6. The commission will be led by the school's director, Prof. Antonio Curto, alongside external experts.

Applications must be submitted via PEC to the official municipal address by 12:00 PM on October 29, 2026. A competition fee of 30 euros is required via the PagoPA system.
