France 2 announces special television programming events

France 2 is preparing two major television events. On October 20, 2026, the program ‘Le Grand Échiquier’ will broadcast a special episode dedicated to Céline Dion from the Royal Opera of Versailles. Hosted by Claire Chazal and André Manoukian, the tribute will feature the Royal Opera of Versailles Orchestra and various artists, including Robert Charlebois, Grand Corps Malade, and Camélia Jordana, to celebrate the singer's international career.

Additionally, the game show ‘N'oubliez pas les paroles’, hosted by Nagui, will celebrate its 8,000th episode on November 7, 2026. The milestone broadcast will center on the annual Masters tournament, where top contestants compete for a place in the quarter-finals. A special Halloween-themed prime episode is also scheduled for October 31, featuring eight of the show's greatest champions.
