France 3 broadcasts new Alex Hugo episode featuring Lionnel Astier

France 3 is airing a new episode of the series Alex Hugo, titled “La vallée des oubliées.” The episode features the return of Angelo Battala, played by Lionnel Astier, who reunites with the protagonist, Alex Hugo, after having retired in a previous installment.

The plot follows Angelo as he seeks help from Alex after a woman in his life mysteriously disappears. The investigation leads the team to discover a pattern of unexplained disappearances in the valley, raising the possibility of a serial killer. This specific episode was also imagined by lead actor Samuel Le Bihan, who made his directorial debut with this project.

Regarding future appearances, Lionnel Astier expressed interest in returning to the series occasionally, noting that his previous departure was due to production schedules rather than disagreements. However, Samuel Le Bihan stated that another appearance for the character is not currently planned.
