France 3 reshuffles weekend lineup, ending ‘Dimanche en politique’ and pausing ‘Vivement dimanche’

Francis Letellier presented the final edition of the political Sunday show “Dimanche en politique” on France 3 on 5 July 2026. The episode featured Minister Vincent Jeanbrun and France Insoumise leader Jean‑Luc Mélenchon, attracted 205 000 viewers in the first segment and 501 000 in the second, and included Letellier’s farewell remarks. He will remain with France Télévisions in a new role after the programme’s closure.

On the same day, Michel Drucker’s entertainment show “Vivement dimanche” did not air on France 3. The slot was taken over by live coverage of the 2026 Tour de France, which will dominate the channel’s afternoons for three weeks. Drucker will instead appear in a rebroadcast of “Famille je vous aime” and an upcoming special of “Affaire conclue”.
