France 3 to broadcast season 8 of Endeavour Morse

France 3 will broadcast reruns of the eighth season of ‘Endeavour Morse’ on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Set in Oxford during 1971, this season follows a traumatized Morse as he struggles with personal grief and alcohol consumption following tragic events in Venice.

The season includes three episodes written by showrunner Russell Lewis:

‘Choisir son camp’ follows an investigation into a university bomb explosion and Morse’s assignment to protect a football player threatened by the IRA.

‘La vérité nue’ involves the murder of a taxi driver, leading investigators to a nudist camp.

‘Terminus’ features an investigation into the stabbing of a university professor during a snowstorm.
