France-Algeria ferry services face schedule changes and seasonal adjustments
Maritime transport services between France and Algeria are undergoing significant changes as the summer season concludes.
Algérie Ferries (ENMTV) has announced the rescheduling of three major crossings. The Marseille-Skikda and Marseille-Algiers routes, originally set for August 31, have been moved to September 1. Additionally, the Skikda-Marseille departure has been delayed from September 1 to September 2.
Corsica Linea is implementing seasonal adjustments to its Marseille-Algiers service. Starting September 15, 2026, the frequency will drop to one departure per week. From September 30, the Algiers-Marseille route will be reduced to a bimonthly schedule, continuing through January 2027.
Meanwhile, the Italian shipping company GNV has launched a promotional campaign offering up to 35% discounts on tickets for travel between France and Algeria. The offer is valid for bookings made between August 29 and September 9, 2026, for trips scheduled through the end of the year, with 8,000 seats available.
