France announces cycling selection for European Championships

The French national cycling team has announced its selection for the upcoming European Championships in Ljubljana. Selector Thomas Voeckler has opted for a squad that includes Romain Grégoire and Kévin Vauquelin as primary leaders for the men's road race.

Paul Seixas will not participate in the championships, a decision made in coordination with his team, Decathlon CMA CGM, to allow him to focus on the Il Lombardia race at the end of the season. Similarly, Célia Géry will miss the event.

The men's road race squad consists of Alex Baudin, Julien Bernard, Léo Bisiaux, Clément Braz Afonso, Romain Grégoire, Mathys Rondel, Pavel Sivakov, and Kévin Vauquelin. For the time trial, Bruno Armirail and Maxime Decomble will represent France.

The women's road race selection includes Cédrine Kerbaol, Juliette Berthet, Léa Curinier, Marie Le Net, Evita Muzic, Maëva Squiban, Célia Le Mouel, and Emilie Morier, with Kerbaol and Berthet also competing in the time trial.
