France clinches national titles in fencing and equestrian championships

French fencers performed strongly at recent international and domestic events. At the World Championships in Hong Kong, the French women's foil team placed fourth, while the men's team finished ninth. In the European Championships, France was the vice‑champion in both women's and men's foil. At the French national championships, French fencers secured top positions across individual and team categories.

In equestrian sport, four young riders from the Centre équestre de Saint‑Just won the team title at the Championnats de France Clubs d'équitation held in Lamotte‑Beuvron. Competing in the Concours Saut d'Obstacles Club 3, the team of Léa Jeanvoine, Louise Barnier, Lauren Picard and Lorine Meliot achieved the highest score, earning the national championship for their club.

Both achievements highlight the depth of talent in French amateur sport, with athletes excelling in fencing and show‑jumping at national and international levels.
