France expands agentic computing ecosystem with NVIDIA

In the realm of infrastructure, Bull is expanding European AI server production to include NVIDIA Vera Rubin Ultra NVL72 systems, with rack integration planned at its Angers factory. In space technology, the Altair-1 satellite—part of a $1 billion constellation—has successfully reached orbit. The satellite utilizes NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin edge modules and Mistral models to perform autonomous real-time Earth observation.

Regarding sovereign AI, LINAGORA and Docaposte have secured the CANUT framework agreement, establishing Twake.ai as a sovereign digital workplace for over 2,500 French public organizations. Additionally, SBS is launching a sovereign platform for the banking sector, and Mistral has introduced the Mistral Large 4 open model in private preview, targeting industries such as cyber defense and manufacturing.
