In France, artificial intelligence is increasingly being integrated into both education and employment. A SKEMA Business School study shows that 96 % of young professionals already use AI tools, with 61 % doing so daily, and they view AI proficiency as essential to employability. Around 80 % expect their future employers to provide AI training, while managers face the dual challenge of leveraging AI for performance and managing its cyber‑security and legal risks.

At the same time, several high schools in the Île‑de‑France region have piloted AI‑assisted grading of Baccalauréat and brevet exams. The system, developed by Examino, scans roughly 2,000 exam papers and proposes scores and feedback, aiming to cut grading time while keeping teachers in final control. The trial highlights difficulties with handwritten text and the continued need for human judgement, and the Ministry of Education has ruled out AI for official grading in 2025.
