France faces academic decline amid rising interest in private schooling

Recent PISA rankings indicate a decline in academic standards within the French national education system. While France maintains a 27th position overall, its mathematics performance has dropped to 34th, falling below Hungary.

Anne Coffinier, founder of ‘Créer son école’, is advocating for a convergence between contract-based private schools and non-contract independent schools. This movement seeks to expand educational offerings as families increasingly turn to independent institutions due to concerns regarding safety, bullying, and the overall quality of public education.
