France holds charity runs for Prader-Willi and Alzheimer research

On 25 September 2026, the town of Foucarmont hosted the second edition of “Courons pour Prader‑Willi”, a 3‑kilometre non‑timed race organized by the association Les Papillons Blancs. All proceeds were donated to Prader‑Willi France to fund research, information and family support for the rare genetic disorder that affects about one child in 15,000.

Earlier, on 6 June 2026, the 4th edition of the #BougeTonCerveau race took place in Paris’s Bois de Boulogne. More than 300 runners participated in 5‑km, 10‑km and children’s courses, raising funds for the Fondation Vaincre Alzheimer’s programmes on Alzheimer’s disease and other neurocognitive disorders. Corporate volunteers from Decathlon, Qantev, Metiga and Superprof helped with logistics and promotion.
