France hosts new theatrical productions in Issoire and Avignon

The troupe Les Mauvais Élèves presents "Cabaret Mythique" in Issoire, blending Greek tragedy texts with a flamboyant, subversive cabaret style. The show features singing, dancing, mime and references to Sophocles, Seneca and Euripides, set against a backdrop of feathers, glitter and theatrical blood.

At the Festival d’Avignon, the collective XY debuts "Le Pas du monde" in the historic Cour d’Honneur of the Palais des Papes. The contemporary circus, performed by 22 artists from twelve nationalities, combines acrobatics, a vocal trio (Julie Calbette, Cyril Héritier, Virginie Besnoist) and electronic music by Jack McWeeny, creating a multilingual, poetic spectacle in the iconic venue.
