France, India, and Greece eye alliance for 6th-gen fighter jets

France, India, and Greece are exploring a potential trilateral partnership regarding the development of sixth-generation fighter aircraft. This move comes as France seeks technological autonomy following difficulties with the Franco-German Future Combat Air System (FCAS) program, which faced industrial disputes between Dassault Aviation and Airbus, as well as differing operational requirements and German export restrictions.
