France launches Impulsion IA 2027 to train 30 million workers

The French government has introduced the ‘Impulsion IA 2027’ plan, an initiative aimed at integrating artificial intelligence training into existing national employment and education frameworks. Rather than establishing a single national school for AI, the strategy seeks to utilize established channels to reach approximately 30 million active workers and job seekers.

Key components of the plan include using Pix for digital literacy, apprenticeship centers (CFA) for trainees, the Personal Training Account (CPF) for continuous professional development, and France Travail to support those seeking employment. A central element of this rollout is ‘Explore IA’, a free public platform developed in collaboration with Pix, which is scheduled to launch in January 2027 to provide introductory learning paths.
