France men's volleyball team defeats Brazil in Paris friendly

The French men's national volleyball team defeated Brazil 3-0 in an international friendly match held at the Adidas Arena in Paris. The set scores were 27-25, 25-21, and 25-16.

For Brazil, the loss marks their third consecutive defeat in a series of preparation matches. The team, coached by Bernardinho, is currently preparing for the South American Championship in Rio de Janeiro, scheduled for September 15-20, which serves as a pathway toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

France, led by coach Andrea Giani, utilized a roster featuring many young players as several veteran Olympic champions were rested. Mathis Henno led the French scoring with 16 points. The victory serves as final preparation for the French team ahead of the European Championship, which begins on September 10 in Romania.
