Zinedine Zidane appointed head coach of France national team

Zinedine Zidane has officially begun his tenure as the head coach of the French national football team. The French Football Federation (FFF) has detailed a comprehensive coaching staff of approximately 23 to 28 members to support him. Key personnel include assistant coaches David Bettoni and Hamidou Msaidie, goalkeeper coach Fabien Barthez, and medical lead Dr. Hervé Collado.

Zidane's first matches will take place during the Nations League, with scheduled fixtures against Turkey, Belgium, and Italy. As he prepares for his debut, Zidane faces immediate challenges, including managing reported tensions between star players Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé following recent public comments regarding the Ballon d'Or. Zidane is reportedly seeking to resolve these interpersonal issues to maintain squad cohesion before the upcoming international break.
