France online gambling market reaches 14.1 billion euros

A report released by the OFDT on October 6 indicates a rise in online gambling participation in France. The total market for all games in France reached 14.1 billion euros in 2025, representing a 3% increase over the previous year.

Among online players, poker has seen significant growth, with the number of poker players increasing by 15.1% compared to 2024. This growth rate outpaces sports betting, which saw an 8.6% increase in players over the same period. In total, 4.2 million people engaged in online wagering in 2025.

Regarding individual spending, the average annual expenditure per adult rose slightly to 259 euros in 2025, up from 253 euros the previous year.
